Assembly Operator IAssignment Duration: 3 months, with the possibility of extension Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour Location: Greensboro, NC Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.; overtime may be available Duration: 3 months with the possibility of extensionJob Summary Kelly Services is seeking a Temporary Assembly Operator I in Greensboro, NC, to build and assemble cable assemblies. This position involves repetitive production tasks, including cutting cable, testing, labeling, and packaging finished products.ResponsibilitiesReview the production schedule and build requirements.Read and follow build packages, customer drawings, prints, and application specifications.Verify that the correct components are used and that quality standards are met.Cut, strip, crimp, and assemble cables.Solder headers or wires to printed circuit boards as needed.Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, and other assembly equipment.Perform end-of-line testing on cable assemblies.Inspect completed assemblies to ensure they meet quality requirements.Label and package finished cable assemblies.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.Work independently and collaboratively as part of a production team.QualificationsAbility to perform repetitive assembly tasks accurately and efficiently.Basic electrical knowledge preferred.Experience with soldering tools and techniques preferred.Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and calipers.Ability to read and understand technical drawings and prints.Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel.Strong problem-solving skills.Ability to follow written instructions and meet production deadlines.Reliable attendance and the ability to work the assigned schedule.
