Assembly Operator 2 ShiftThe Assembly Operator is responsible for pre-assembling racking frames and products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety and quality standards, and the ability to work efficiently as part of a production/assembly team.Assemble parts and products according to work instructions, blueprints, and production schedulesOperate and safely handle power tools, including torque wrenches and other hand toolsMaintain consistent production output while meeting quality standardsPerform visual and functional inspections of assembled framesFollow all OSHA safety regulations and company safety policiesMaintain a clean and organized work areaReport equipment issues, safety concerns, or quality defects to leadWork collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goalsLoad and unload assembly cells using electric-pallet moverQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry materials in accordance with OSHA lifting guidelinesFamiliarity with power tools, including torque wrenches and basic hand toolsExperience working in a high-pace, mass production or manufacturing environment preferredAbility to stand and walk for extended periods and perform repetitive tasksStrong attention to detail, commitment to quality, and detecting anomalies.Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to follow written and verbal instructionsReliable attendance and punctualityLift frequent 75 poundsPush and pull frequent objects over 100 poundsStanding work for 8 hoursStandup operation in a fast-paced production/assembly environmentFrequently bend and pick parts up from the floor.Be able to work under pressure due to amount of change oversStrong attention to detail due to product quality standardsBe able to comply with staggered brakes structure.Must be team playerMust be able to work in teams up to 6Must be flexible to be reassigned to different dutiesAdditional InformationWhat do we offer you?PTO, days paid sick leave, 11 US paid holidaysMedical, Dental and Vision InsuranceCompany paid Short- and Long-Term Disability InsuranceCompany Paid Life InsuranceCompany Paid Accidental Death & Dismemberment401K with employer match, currently 4%Partial Tuition Reimbursement after 12 monthsGross SalaryTobacco Free CampusQuality, Safety, Health, Environment, ComplianceEvery employee at stow contributes to a safe and compliant work environment.
