Parker Boats is a premium offshore and inshore fishing boat manufacturer with heritage built on quality, strength, and seaworthiness, guided by time-tested design and a commitment to craftsmanship.Parker Offshore, LLC, a premier manufacturer of fiberglass boats, is seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Supply Chain Manager to oversee the procurement of materials, supplies, and services that support production and operations. The ideal candidate will drive cost efficiency, maintain quality standards, and ensure timely delivery of critical materials in alignment with production schedules and company goals.Key Responsibilities:Direct and oversee assembly operations through final boat completion, ensuring safety, quality, efficiency, and on-time deliveryLead, develop, and hold accountable supervisors, leads, and manufacturing team membersEstablish production goals, schedules, staffing plans, and performance metrics to meet business objectivesDrive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, throughput, quality, cost reduction, and operational excellencePartner with Supply Chain, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, and Human Resources to ensure seamless production flow and resolve operational challengesMonitor and manage production performance, labor utilization, manufacturing costs, and key operational metricsEnsure compliance with all safety, environmental, regulatory, and company standards while fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and craftsmanshipSupport strategic planning, capacity management, workforce development, facility improvements, and future growth initiativesRequired Skills/Abilities:Strong leadership and team development skills with the ability to lead managers, supervisors, and hourly production employeesExtensive knowledge of manufacturing operations, production planning, workflow management, and schedulingProven ability to drive productivity improvements, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement initiativesStrong understanding of quality systems, process control, and root cause problem-solving methodologiesExcellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skillsAbility to analyze production data, KPIs, labor metrics, and operational reports to make informed business decisionsStrong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other continuous improvement methodologiesExperience with ERP systems, production management software, and Microsoft Office applicationsStrong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, labor costs, and manufacturing expensesKnowledge of OSHA regulations, workplace safety practices, and environmental compliance requirementsAbility to build cross-functional partnerships and effectively collaborate with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Maintenance, and Human ResourcesStrategic thinking skills with the ability to align manufacturing operations with company goals and growth strategiesStrong decision making, trouble shooting, and problem-solving abilitiesCommitment to fostering a culture of accountability, safety, quality, and operational excellence.Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Operations Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field preferredMinimum of 5 years of manufacturing leadership experienceProven success managing high-volume production operationsExperience with boat manufacturing, marine manufacturing, RV manufacturing, transportation equipment or similar industriesExperience managing multi-department manufacturing facilitiesPhysical Requirements:Ability to regularly walk throughout manufacturing and production areasAbility to stand for extended periodsOccasionally lift or carry up to 25 poundsAbility to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, fiberglass materials, and varying temperaturesThis is a safety sensitive positionAmericans with Disability Specifications:Parker Offshore is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
