Associate, AssemblyPosition Summary: The Associate, Assembly has electro-mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing environment. Ability to read blueprints, bills of materials, calibration specs along with the mechanical aptitude to accurately build and test product with direction from Assembly Leads. Ability and willingness to be cross-trained in different areas of production across multiple product types.

Highly dependable in the areas of attendance, quality and work pace.Key Responsibilities:Building various electro-mechanical assemblies using blueprints, bills of material and calibration specsAbility and willingness to rotate and work in different work cellsDependable in areas of attendance, quality and work pacePerform light material handling work when requiredFamiliar with plant safety concepts and able to identify potential safety concernsPerforms other duties as assignedMinimum Requirements/Qualifications:Minimum 1 year of experience in an electro-mechanical production assembly environmentHigh school education or equivalentStrong communication skills (verbal and written)Ability to work independently or in a group setting with minimal direction and direct supervisionSkilled in soldering, blueprint reading and functional comprehension of test and calibration specsAbility to productively interact with other departments including engineering, warehouse associates and quality controlAbility to lift up to 25 lbs. with assistanceThrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, efficiently works under pressures, within deadlines or other time essential constraints.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to clearly and concisely communicate to all levels of the organization.Strong work ethic and an ability to excel within a rapidly changing and growing organizationBeginning to intermediate PC skills highly desirable
