Job TitleAssemblerPosition SummaryThe assembler is responsible for assembling, inspecting, and packaging orthopedic braces and support devices used for broken, sprained, or injured bones and body parts. This position requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to follow detailed work instructions to ensure products meet quality and safety standards.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssemble orthopedic braces, splints, and support devices according to work instructions and specificationsCut, fit, and attach materials such as straps, padding, hinges, fasteners, and metal or plastic componentsOperate hand tools, small power tools, and light assembly equipment as neededInspect components and finished products to ensure they meet quality standardsIdentify and report defects or inconsistencies to supervisorsMaintain accurate production and quality documentationPackage finished products for shipment following company proceduresMaintain a clean and organized work areaFollow all safety, health, and regulatory guidelines, including medical device manufacturing standardsQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredPrevious assembly, manufacturing, or production experience preferred (medical device experience a plus)Ability to follow written and verbal instructionsStrong attention to detail and qualityGood hand-eye coordination and manual dexterityAbility to stand or sit for extended periodsAbility to lift up to 25–40 pounds as neededWork EnvironmentManufacturing or production floor settingRepetitive hand movementsMay require use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
