Job TitleJob Overview:Requirement/Must Have:High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 1-3 years prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 1 to 2 years of prior related manufacturing work experience.Must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance.Responsibilities:Metallization and/or coating of glass substrates using various deposition equipment to achieve proper electro-optical surface conditions.Surface preparation of pre and post metalized or coated substrates using cleaning agents, solvents and acids to prepare substrates for post-processing.Inspect pre and post metalized or coated glass substrates in order to comply with internal and external acceptance criteria.Fully proficient in this role and able to work safely with limited supervision, assignments can be moderately difficult requiring independent judgement.Maintain accurate record entry through use of onsite Quality Tracking System (QTS).Ability to use chemicals (acids, bases, and solvents) and use inspection equipment.Perform other duties as required.Skills:Able to sit or stand for extensive periods.Use power inspection.Train to recognize and categorize 40+ failure modes set against a criterion developed for individually designed night vision components.Good eye-hand coordination and ability to perform repeat tasks.Ability to become familiar with SPC (Statistical Process Control).Basic computer skills (MS Office) for data entry and inventory management.Ability to use a microscope.Good communication skills.Teamwork oriented.Ability to work with little or no supervision if required.Ability to make quality decisions quickly.Patience.Qualification And Education:HS Diploma/GED and 4 years’ experience.General working knowledge of Lean and 5S+1 methodology.Clean Room protocols.
