Sign Assembly TechnicianWe're seeking a Sign Assembly Technician to join our production team. This role is responsible for assembling high-quality custom signs, displays, and visual products for a variety of commercial and industrial customers. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and enjoys working with both electrical and fabrication components.ResponsibilitiesAssemble illuminated and non-illuminated signs, displays, and visual products according to specifications and production drawings.Perform electrical wiring and circuit assembly for sign lighting and electronic components.Install and connect LED lighting systems, transformers, power supplies, and related electrical components.Apply vinyl graphics, decals, and lettering to signs and display surfaces with accuracy and attention to detail.Assemble mechanical components, frames, hardware, and structural elements of signs.Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards and customer specifications are met.Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment safely and effectively.Assist various production departments as needed, including fabrication, finishing, packaging, and shipping.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.Follow company safety procedures and quality standards.Essential SkillsBlueprint readingIndustrial and mechanical assembly experienceProficiency with hand and power toolsMechanical aptitudeAbility to read and interpret work instructions and schematicsBasic understanding of electrical wiring and circuitryAdditional Skills & QualificationsPrevious experience in manufacturing, assembly, electrical, sign production, or constructionExperience with LED lighting installation and vinyl applicationAbility to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periodsStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanshipTeam-oriented attitude with a willingness to assist across multiple departmentsWhy Work Here?Once direct, the company offers a complete medical, dental, vision, and life insurance package, along with PTO and a 401k plan.
