Assembler Technician TraineeAAA, United States, Inc. has partnered with a company in Duluth, Minnesota that produces composite fiberglass parts such as Wings, Fuselages, Horizontals, and their accompanying parts for the Cirrus SR20, SR22 piston airplane, and the SF50 Vision Jet. We are looking for experienced Aircraft Interior Installers who are seeking their next opportunity in a complex and ever-changing work environment!The Assembler Technician Trainee is responsible for a variety of tasks that are pivotal to building a plane or jet.

As a technician you will be learning to use a variety of hand tools and use of pneumatic fixtures to assemble parts.Essential Functions:Learn about Assembler role and Cirrus processesDevelop early skills in how to inspect, build and install aircraft componentsStart reading and understanding engineering drawing and specificationsLearn about parts, parts fit, clearance, alignment, and functional performance complies with design requirements to gain confidence and familiarityUnderstand importance of cleaning, set up and use of bonding, drilling, and holding fixturesBegin skills in installing rivets, screws and bolts, using appropriate toolsIdentify and learn routes for wires, cables and tubingGrow skills in Torques hardware and fitting, practicing various tools and test equipmentLearn to understand, follow and properly document aircraft build instructionsWears personal protective equipment as required and may include a respiratorLearns to mix and apply adhesives, resins, and sealants per instructionsMaintains a clear and organized workstation to department standardsRequirements:Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environmentHigh levels of integrity and ability to communicate errors to leadership to ensure immediate correctionInitiative to finish assignments and personal accountability for time management.Reliable and dependable work ethic and can adapt to changing work requirementsAbility to read blueprints and drawings and able to calculate dimensions within a thousandth of an inchKnowledge of basic tools and uses good judgment when selecting the proper tool for the jobHigh School diploma or GEDMinimum one year related experience and/or training preferred but not required
