Works at bench or on shop floor by performing the following duties.Key accountabilities:Follows Standard work instructions for the complete assembly.Assembles units by using various hand tools, assembly fixtures, adhesives and lubricants.Using specialty machinery and tools to fasten part and pieces together.Safely performs all job duties.Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, or other fasteners.Uses various hand tools and measuring equipment such as: drills, pliers, taps, calipers and micrometers to complete special application orders.Receives, verifies, and separates work orders for components.Ensures Lot Traceability with all components of the production order.Verifies conformance of all components to specifications.Reads and interprets pneumatic/electrical drawings to position parts according to knowledge of unit being assembled.Operates drill presses, lathes, milling machines and grinders to assist in assembly operation.Performs testing of products during the assembly and final stage of production.Evaluation and analysis of non-conforming material returns.Inspection and repair of customer returns.Knowledge and Experience:Experience in manufacturing/warehouse environment or equivalent combination of education/experienceBasic computer skillsExperience with SAP or similar system is a plusExperience reading blueprints a plusKnowledge of hand tools and the Metric systemKnowledge of basic safety standards and practicesKnowledge of measuring equipment and machine toolsDiverse opportunities for your developmentA strong team by your sideFreedom to drive your ideas forwardDevelop innovative solutions with real impactBe part of a global network – in a family-owned companyAttractive compensation and additional benefitsWe look forward to your application and to getting to know you!Nearest Major Market: Cincinnati
