Join us and be part of something that makes a lasting impact.Position Summary:As a Trailer Pump Assembler, you'll play a key role in building and testing high-performance trailer pump systems.

This hands-on position is ideal for mechanically inclined individuals with experience in assembly, hydraulics, or heavy equipment.Key Responsibilities:Retrieve assembly instructions from the Build Book programAssemble trailer pump components following engineering drawings and bills of materialsRequest necessary parts from the Parts DepartmentPerform final unit assembly, including hoods, lighting, electrical components, decals, and custom specificationsConnect hydraulic lines and fill with oil in preparation for system testingTest assembled products to ensure quality and proper functionalityFollow all safety policies, procedures, and best practicesMaintain a clean and organized work area and toolsPerform related duties as assignedQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent requiredStrong mechanical aptitudeExperience assembling or repairing mechanical equipmentFamiliarity with hydraulic, electrical, gas, and diesel systemsAbility to read and interpret blueprints, hydraulic, and electrical schematicsExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsGood verbal communication and teamwork skillsPreferred Skills:Previous experience working with heavy mechanical equipmentFormal technical training (certificate or associate's degree in auto repair or similar)Comfort using a computer to retrieve instructions and track laborPhysical Requirements:Must lift up to 50 lbs. as neededPerform repetitive tasks while moving around, under, and over equipment (95% on the production floor)Work outdoors in all weather conditions (approx. 5% of the time)Why Work at Schwing America?Work on meaningful products used around the worldState-of-the-art facility and toolsSupportive, team-oriented environmentOpportunities for career growth and skill developmentCompetitive pay and comprehensive benefitsApply now and join a team where your work truly moves the world forward.
