AssemblerThe assembler will be responsible for lifting coils with an overhead crane, gathering component parts for builds such as fins, casings, and hairpins, and using various tools safely.
The role involves aligning fins with alignment rods, managing oversized fin bundles, and arranging setup materials. Additional duties include reaming coils, extending tables for larger coils, and moving larger items such as pallets and carts.ResponsibilitiesLift coils with an overhead crane at a certified level.Gather component parts for builds: fins, casings, hairpins.Fixture tables correctly using braces, clamps, and endplates.Safely use electric, pneumatic, floor, and hand tools.Align fins for builds with alignment rods.Manage and move oversized fin bundles.Lace fins with hairpins or tubes.Locate and arrange setup materials such as wood, cardboard, or foam.Ream coils correctly as approved by the supervisor.Extend tables for larger coils.Push or pull larger items: pallets, hairpin carts, coils on carts.Essential SkillsMechanical aptitude.Inspection and production experience.Experience with hoists and manufacturing processes.Proficiency with power tools and hand tools.Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.Attention to detail and positive attitude.Capability to perform heavy lifting and mechanical assembly.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to safely lift up to 50lbs unassisted.Excellent hand and visual dexterity.Ability to stand for long periods and stoop/bend frequently.Ability to accurately read drawings.Team player with effective verbal communication skills.Basic understanding of math.Open to constructive criticism and able to follow directions from supervisors or leads.Why Work Here?The company has consistently been recognized as a top manufacturer, winning accolades for ten consecutive years.
