This role involves working with mechanical and electrical components while ensuring quality and safety standards.
Essential Functions:Assemble mechanical and electrical components using hand and power toolsFollow work instructions, drawings, and SOPsPerform testing, troubleshooting, and diagnosticsRecord results in computer systemsEnsure compliance with quality and regulatory requirementsReport issues related to materials, processes, or equipmentSupport Lean/5S initiativesMaintain a safe, organized work areaComplete production documentationSupport installations (10–20% travel)CompetenciesHigh school diploma or GEDAbility to read technical instructionsBasic computer skillsStrong mechanical aptitudeAbility to work independently and in teamsEffective communication skillsEducation and Experience1–3 years manufacturing or assembly experienceElectromechanical or medical device experienceFamiliarity with Lean or 5SExperience with electrical testing toolsPhysical Demands and Work EnvironmentThe noise level in the work environment is generally moderate.Sedentary physical activity requiring reaching, lifting, finger dexterity, grasping, feeling, repetitive motions, talking and hearing.Visual requirement is for close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus.Ability to regularly lift/move up to 25 pounds, occasionally lift/move 50 pounds.30% or more time is spent looking directly at a computer.Associate is frequently required to stand, walk (or otherwise be mobile).Take a look at your potential career with ARxIUM and apply today.
