In this role, you'll assemble mechanical, electrical, and electronic components into subassemblies or finished products using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and other equipment. You'll also inspect, adjust, and repair products as needed to ensure they meet quality and performance standards.This is an entry-level position with on-the-job training provided.
The work follows established procedures and detailed instructions, making it a great opportunity for someone looking to start a career in manufacturing.Key ResponsibilitiesAssemble mechanical, electrical, and electronic components into subassemblies and finished products.Use hand tools, power tools, jigs, fixtures, and other production equipment safely and effectively.Fit, align, calibrate, and adjust parts to meet product specifications and quality standards.Inspect completed assemblies and identify any defects or issues.Repair or rework products that do not meet quality or operating requirements.Follow work instructions, safety procedures, and established manufacturing processes.Maintain a clean and organized work area.Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred.No previous experience required; training will be provided.Ability to use basic hand and power tools.Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions.Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining quality standards.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Ideal CandidateReliable and dependable with a strong work ethic.Willing to learn new skills in a manufacturing environment.Comfortable performing routine, hands-on assembly work.Able to make simple decisions by following established procedures and guidelines.
