Assembler

Job Description

Johnson Service Group has an immediate opportunity for an assembler in Orange, CA
We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembler to perform cable and wire assembly, soldering, crimping, molding, testing, and inspection while following engineering drawings and work instructions.
Pay rate: $20- $23/Hr.

Responsibilities

• Cable cutting and cable preparation
• Connector-end and flying-lead/strip-end preparation
• Crimp terminal lugs and connector ends
• Coax cable assembly
• Stuffing and epoxy application
• Epoxy mold, pre-mold, and overmold operations
• Shrink tubing and solder splicing
• Braid/shield preparation and machine braiding
• Mold setup and hardware installation
• Testing and in-process inspection
• Final visual inspection
• Read and interpret drawings, routers, and work instructions
• Communicate effectively and follow instructions in English
• Maintain quality, safety, and production standards

Qualifications

• Cable/wire assembly or manufacturing experience preferred
• Soldering and crimping experience preferred
• Ability to read drawings and routers
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Good communication and English skills
• Ability to use hand tools and perform repetitive assembly tasks
