Onsite Contract General

AssemblerThis Assembler will be responsible for the detailed assembly of in-process units, focusing on electrical wiring, brazing, air compressor installation, silicone sealing, and foaming. This role involves working on both standard and more complex 'cyclone' units, which are heavier and require intricate assembly.Responsibilities:Install wire harnesses and connect wires according to diagrams.Use tools such as mallets, hand tools, rivet guns, and other power tools for compressor installation.Perform foaming by connecting the unit to a machine to fill it with insulating foam.Execute silicone installation similar to caulking using a caulk gun.Engage in labor-intensive tasks, including caulking and foaming, as needed.Essential Skills:Experience standing for at least 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week.Capability to repetitively lift 30-40lb parts up to 50+ times daily.Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools.Ownership of steel-toed or composite-toed protective shoes.Ability to work safely and maintain high-quality work standards.Proven mechanical assembly experience.Experience with wiring or brazing parts.Available Shift & Pay:1st shift: 6am - 4:30pm, Monday - Thursday$20Why Work Here?Join a workplace that offers a temperature-controlled environment and opportunities for career advancement.

The fabrication area features a laser cutting machine, deburring, and brazing stations. The assembly area is organized but somewhat cramped, with units moving on carts. The facility is temperature-controlled, although employees may feel warm due to wearing arm sleeves. The first shift runs from 6 am to 4:30 pm, with mandatory overtime on Fridays. Required PPE includes steel toes, safety glasses, protective cut sleeves, and cut gloves. Employees must wear cotton, canvas, or denim pants, with no sweats, spandex, or nylon allowed. Pants must be worn at the waist and belted if needed, and hoods cannot be worn over the head.Job Type & Location:This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Noblesville, IN.Pay and Benefits:The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
