AssemblerThis role focuses on press operation, assembly, and quality inspection within a high-volume metal stamping environment. You operate manufacturing machinery, perform basic assembly tasks, and ensure products meet quality standards while working on a production line.ResponsibilitiesOperate large metal stamping presses and other manufacturing machinery safely and efficiently.Perform basic assembly tasks on the production line according to work instructions and specifications.Conduct quality inspections on parts and finished products to ensure they meet required standards.Monitor equipment during operation and report any issues, defects, or irregularities promptly.Handle materials and finished goods, including lifting items up to 50 pounds as needed.Maintain a clean and organized work area to support safety and production efficiency.Follow all safety procedures, guidelines, and personal protective equipment requirements.Stand for extended periods during shifts while performing assembly and inspection tasks.Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines.Complete documentation or production tracking forms accurately as required by the process.This is a Contract position based out of Mount Sterling, KY.The pay range for this position is $16.50/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
