Hiring Assemblers and Machine Operators Near YouUp to $19.66/hour. Paid weekly! 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts.ResponsibilitiesPerform all assembly functions in assigned stations and feeder areas, with the exception of welding, to build mechanical units and support assemblies according to specifications.Flex between different workstations and assembly lines as needed to meet production and scheduling requirements.Identify, select, and correctly assemble all parts and subassemblies, ensuring proper sequencing for final assembly of the entire unit.Read and interpret blueprints, data plates, bills of material, and standard work instructions to guide assembly tasks.Practice and sustain 5S methods to maintain an organized, clean, and efficient work area.Use material ordering systems to ensure components and supplies are available at the workstation when needed.Apply proper sealing procedures to all products to meet performance and quality requirements.Perform basic plumbing and electrical work on units in accordance with product requirements and safety guidelines.Work from ladders up to 20 feet in height to complete assembly tasks on larger units.Handle knock-down packing and crating, preparing units for shipment or storage.Install special accessories on units and ensure they are correctly fitted and functional.Follow all relevant ISO procedures, policies, and instructions for the assigned area to ensure consistent quality.Understand, mentor, and promote LEAN principles within the work area to improve efficiency and reduce waste.Continually help develop ways to improve safety performance and eliminate identified safety issues in both the field and the plant.Support departmental safety goals, including near-miss reporting and contributing to safety metrics.Utilize hand tools, power tools, and air tools such as drills, grinders, and impact guns safely and effectively.Use tape measures and basic measuring tools to verify dimensions and ensure accurate assembly.Why Work Here?This opportunity offers the chance to contribute to products used across commercial, industrial, refrigeration, process, and power markets, supporting energy efficiency, sustainability, and ecological responsibility that have been central to the business for over 70 years. Work is primarily indoors, with approximately 95% of tasks performed inside the plant. Large bay doors are often open, which can expose employees to seasonal temperature variations, including cold conditions in winter and heat in summer. The noise level is usually loud, and hearing protection is required. Housekeeping is performed each shift, but the work is hands-on and you should expect to be dirty by the end of the shift. The position operates across different shifts, including first, second, and third shift assembly. Steel-toe or composite-toe boots must be self-supplied. Additional personal protective equipment is provided, including ear plugs, safety glasses or goggles (or side shields for approved prescription glasses), gloves, and arm shields. Tools required for the role are issued, and you will regularly use hand tools, power tools, and air tools in a fast-paced, team-oriented production environment.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milford, DE.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.66 - $19.66/hr.
