Assembler - Medium VoltageThis role focuses on the manufacturing and assembly of industrial power systems, with a primary emphasis on wiring and assembling electrical components. You will read and interpret schematics and engineering drawings, use a variety of hand and power tools, and build medium-voltage units that can reach up to eight feet in height. The position requires consistent attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.ResponsibilitiesAssemble industrial power systems according to engineering drawings, schematics, and process sheets.Wire electrical components and power systems accurately following wiring diagrams and schematic drawings.Read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, process sheets, and mechanical drawings to complete assembly tasks.Use hand tools and power tools such as power drills, wire crimpers, wire strippers, screwdrivers, hammers, and tape measures safely and effectively.Measure and cut materials accurately using a tape measure and appropriate tools to meet specified dimensions.Work on medium-voltage units that may reach up to eight feet in height, including standing on ladders when necessary.Follow established production procedures and quality standards to ensure reliable and consistent assemblies.Maintain a clean and organized work area and handle tools, equipment, and materials in a safe and orderly manner.Collaborate with team members and leads to meet production schedules and support cross-functional tasks as needed.Adhere to all safety guidelines, including the use of required personal protective equipment, and report any hazards or issues promptly.Essential SkillsAbility to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, blueprints, and process sheets.Proficiency in wiring electrical components and power systems.Skilled in using hand tools and power tools, including drills, wire crimpers, wire strippers, screwdrivers, hammers, and tape measures.Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately.Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with mechanical and electrical assemblies.High school diploma or GED.Ability to stand for an entire shift and work at heights using ladders when required.Capability to work scheduled hours, including required Saturday shifts.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in manufacturing, electrical assembly, wiring, soldering, maintenance, installation, or other electrical backgrounds is highly beneficial.Experience reading blueprints, schematics, or wiring diagrams in a production or field environment.Experience in construction, handyman work, HVAC, automotive, or similar trades is considered a plus.Comfort working with power tools and mechanical equipment in an industrial setting.Willingness to learn additional skills such as mechanical assembly, welding, CNC machinery operation, electrical testing, and paint line processes as opportunities arise.Why Work Here?You join a growing organization that offers a clear path from contract-to-hire, including a pay increase, profit sharing, benefits, paid time off, paid holidays, and a 401(k) plan upon conversion to permanent status.
