Assembler IIThe Assembler II (intermediate level) performs more complex conveyor assembly tasks with limited supervision. They interpret technical drawings, troubleshoot issues, and ensure assemblies meet quality standards.Our large production team consists of welders, assemblers, metal fabricators, powder coaters, and more. As an Assembler you will collaborate with your Production Supervisor and peers to assemble top-quality grain conveyors for our customers.Responsibilities:Independently assemble conveyor sections, frames, rollers, drives, and accessoriesInterpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and bills of materialsPerform basic troubleshooting and adjustments during assemblyConduct preliminary testing and alignment of conveyor systemsHave some basic math skills using or making templates when using the shearKeep up with different applications of hardware (when to use zinc or stainless steel)Operate shear equipment safely to cut different types of liner materials without having too much waste of materialBe able to come up with templates for lining certain pieces of conveyor equipmentPlan ahead and be able to preorder materials if needed when there is a bigger than usual run of partsOperate fabrication tools such as drills, grinders, and torque equipmentEnsure accuracy, quality, and compliance with specificationsProvide guidance to Level 1 assemblers on basic tasksCommunicate material shortages, design issues, or process improvementsQualifications:Strong mechanical knowledge and assembly experienceAbility to read and interpret technical drawingsFamiliarity with conveyor components and industrial equipmentProblem-solving skills and attention to detailFollow AGI's Code of Business Ethics and related compliance policiesWhy Hi Roller?We're leading the way in global food supply chain solutions and here's how: We're the leading global expert in providing farmers, processors and commercial customers with the right equipment and customized engineering solutions to produce, protect and deliver the world's grain, fertilizer, seed, feed and food supplies.
