We will continue to insert intelligent automation into our manufacturing facilities, which will continue to drive the future of flight well into the next century.Position:The Assembler works according to takt time on a moving line or bench, performing finish assembly processes to mass-produce commercial aircraft composite products.Duties:Follow job traveler instructions to assemble parts using small hand tools, bonding adhesives and assembly jigs.Hand wraps insulation blankets, using utility knives, foam insulation, and insulation tape.Performs light sanding and abrading of composite, plastic, and some metal components.May perform some light riveting using rivet squeezes and pop rivet guns.Qualifications:Fine hand motor skills.Strong attention to detail.Excellent communication skill both written and verbal.Self-motivated and quick learner.Basic math skills.Understanding of process specifications.Understanding of technology with the ability to learn new platforms and systems.One year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities in a manufacturing environment preferred.Working Conditions:While performing typical duties of this job, production employees will experience the conditions noted below.
