Production Assembler | Mechanical & Electrical AssemblyBuild Industry-Leading Car Wash Equipment and Grow Your CareerAre you mechanically inclined and enjoy building products with your hands? Join a growing manufacturing team that designs and produces innovative car wash systems used throughout North America.As a Production Assembler, you'll help build mechanical and electrical equipment from the ground up. You'll work with hand tools, power tools, wiring, blueprints, and assembly drawings to create high-quality products that make a real impact for customers. Whether your experience comes from manufacturing, automotive repair, construction, maintenance, electrical work, or mechanical assembly, we provide opportunities to learn, develop new skills, and grow your career.What You'll DoAssemble car wash equipment including speed dryers, wash arms, pump stands, and related assemblies.Install mechanical components such as hoses, fittings, brackets, hardware, and mounting systems.Perform electrical assembly work, including panel wiring, wiring harness installation, and component connections.Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly instructions, and work orders.Use hand tools, power tools, tape measures, and other equipment to complete assemblies accurately.Measure, fit, align, and secure components according to specifications.Organize, stage, and kit materials to support efficient production flow.Inspect completed assemblies to ensure quality, functionality, and compliance with specifications.Package and prepare finished products for testing, shipment, or final installation.Support production, testing, shipping, and other departments as needed.Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.Follow all safety procedures and quality standards.What We're Looking ForRequired QualificationsAt least 1 year of experience in manufacturing, assembly, production, construction, maintenance, automotive, or another hands-on mechanical environment.Experience using hand tools and power tools.Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure.Ability to follow assembly instructions, blueprints, diagrams, or work orders.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.Preferred QualificationsMechanical assembly experience.Electrical assembly or wiring experience.Experience with control panels, wiring harnesses, or electrical components.Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, or schematics.Experience in manufacturing, industrial equipment, automotive, HVAC, maintenance, or production environments.Familiarity with electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, or mechanical systems.Troubleshooting or repair experience is a plus.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grimes, IA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $22.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
