AssemblerAssembler – Galesburg, IL Starting Pay: $16.00/hr Advance Services is seeking dependable and detail-oriented Assemblers for a manufacturing facility in Galesburg, IL. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with their hands, following instructions, and being part of a team that produces quality products.Job ResponsibilitiesAssemble sub-assembly parts and components.Assemble complete equipment models ready for shipment to customers.Wire and connect motors, switches, and electrical components.Assemble belts, sprockets, pulleys, rollers, and other mechanical components.Operate overhead cranes and forklifts safely and efficiently.Inspect finished assemblies to ensure quality and accuracy.Maintain a clean and organized work area.Follow all company safety policies and procedures.QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required.Certification or degree in a manufacturing, mechanical, or related field is a plus.Ability to safely operate overhead cranes and forklifts.Minimum of two years of assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Ability to pass a manufacturing skills written test.Ability to pass an assembly logic written test.Demonstrate strong basic math and measurement skills.Ability to read measuring devices, including dial calipers.Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.Electrical and plumbing experience is helpful.Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics is preferred.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Why Work for Advance Services?Weekly pay Competitive wages Health benefits available Friendly and supportive staff Advancement opportunities No fees to applicants Apply today and start your career with Advance Services!
