Conformal Coating & Soldering TechnicianWe are seeking a skilled Conformal Coating & Soldering Technician to apply protective coatings to printed circuit boards (PCBs), perform precision soldering, and support electronic assembly processes. This role requires strong attention to detail, steady hands, and experience working with masking, coating materials, soldering tools, and inspection methods.ResponsibilitiesApply conformal coatings to PCBs using spray, dip, or selective-coating equipmentMask components to protect connectors, keep-outs, and sensitive areasInspect coated boards for coverage, thickness, bubbles, and defectsOperate UV inspection equipment to verify coating qualityPerform coating touch-up, rework, and removal when neededMaintain clean equipment and a contamination-free workspacePerform hand soldering of through-hole and SMT componentsUse soldering irons, hot-air tools, and rework stations for assembly or repairInspect solder joints to IPC standards (IPC-A-610 preferred)Assist with PCB assembly, wire prep, and harness soldering as neededFollow work instructions, drawings, and coating/soldering specificationsRequired Skills & QualificationsExperience with conformal coating processes (manual or automated)Ability to read work instructions, PCB drawings, and assembly documentationStrong attention to detail and steady hand coordinationFamiliarity with UV inspection and masking materialsProficiency in soldering (SMT and/or through-hole)Ability to identify solder defects such as bridges, cold joints, and insufficient wettingExperience in electronics manufacturing or PCB assembly preferredKnowledge of IPC-A-610 or similar quality standards is a plusWhy Work HereWeekly payClean, climate-controlled production environmentHands-on technical work with room for skill developmentSupportive team and strong quality-driven cultureWork EnvironmentClimate-controlled electronics manufacturingUse of UV lights, coating equipment, soldering irons, and precision toolsFocus on cleanliness, accuracy, and consistent workmanshipJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Burnsville, MN.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
