This position is full time and on-site.Job Responsibilities:Perform advanced-level assembly functions, which may include: prep, mechanical, harness, cable, printed circuit board sub-assemblies, spray application, and inspection, typically working from models and/or drawings, within ProductionPerform soldering and installation of electronics components to PWA's, using a wide range of tools and equipmentInterpret blueprints, Process Flow Instructions and other written instructionsResponsible for producing quality work to production standards, with a focus on continuous improvement to meet customer commitments on scheduleFollow written work instructionsResponsible and accountable for producing quality work to prescribed standards, with a focus on continuous improvement to meet customer commitments on schedule and within budgetWork under minimal supervision on tasks that are routinePerform more detailed and assembly tasks that require experience in the specified processesExperienced with production planning and accomplishing assigned goalsCommunicate with other functional departments, such as Manufacturing Engineering and QualityResolve assembly process barriersServe as a resource to others in the resolution of complex problems and issuesSelf-starterMaintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety procedures which govern the handling of materials, chemicals, tools, and equipment (WHMIS)Proper use of required PPEAssist in orienting and training lower level employeesParticipate in LEAN Events, "Six S" activities, action teams and execution of process improvementsSupport, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organizationWill be trained across all assembly product linesIf required, perform all aspects of inspection: in-processQualifications:High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 1 year of experience in solderingPreferred Qualifications: Jira and CostPoint experience Aerospace and Defense IndustryThe salary range for this position is $19.48/hour-$24.36/hour. This range reflects the good faith estimate of pay the employer is willing to offer at the time of posting.
