Position Summary

The Assembler II is responsible for performing a variety of assembly and packing tasks requiring intermediate skill and experience. This role operates multiple tools and equipment, supports production across work areas, and independently identifies and addresses basic quality issues to ensure product standards are met.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Perform assembly and packing tasks across multiple workstations within the department

· Operate equipment and tools including rivet machines, drills, glue guns, staple guns, gauges, and fixtures

· Read and interpret work orders, instructions, and specifications

· Inspect products during and after assembly to ensure quality standards are met

· Identify nonconforming materials and take appropriate action, including notifying supervision

· Support team-based production in assigned work cells

· Maintain production logs and documentation as required

· Follow all safety procedures and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE)

· Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

· Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of the role

Required Qualifications

· High school diploma or equivalent preferred

· Previous assembly or manufacturing experience preferred

· Ability to read measurements and follow detailed instructions

· Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and basic machinery

Work Environment & Physical Demands

· Work is performed in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with established production schedules, cycle times requirements, and productivity expectations.

· This position requires prolonged periods of standing and repetitive motion activities, including frequent use of the hands for gripping, grasping, squeezing, and handling materials or equipment

· Ability to lift 15–40 pounds repeatedly during an 8-hour shift

· Ability to maneuver large or bulky products

· Required use of PPE including safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection
