Assembler 2 At MKS, Inc.As an Assembler 2 at MKS, Inc. you will partner with the Operations team to perform a wide variety of mechanical assembly operations. In this role, you will report to the Operations Manager.You Will Make an Impact By:Assemble complex products, subassemblies, and components according to work instructions, drawings, specifications, and quality standards.Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing component installation, welding and testing units.Making set-ups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specificationsMay be responsible for testing equipment and productsRunning wash station to clean piece parts and assembliesTroubleshoot and resolve assembly, fit, form, and function issues using established procedures.Participate in continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and 5S activities.Train and mentor Assembler I and Assembler II employees on assembly methods, quality standards, and safety proceduresMaintain accurate production records and documentation.Skills You Bring:2-3 years of related experience requiredPhysical Demands and Working Conditions:Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.Regularly requires good manual dexterity and coordinationOccasionally moves/positions objects up to 50 poundsAbility to remain in a stationary position for 80% of the timeFrequently positions self to perform tasks and positions objects below, at, and above shoulder levelRegularly requires manual dexterity and coordination of objects below, at and above shoulder levelMust be able to exchange accurate informationOperates in a professional office and/or laboratory/manufacturing environmentConstantly operates a computer and other office productivity machineryDedication to safety to mitigate hazards including handling mechanical and electrical hardware, high voltage, gas, water, and heatNoise level in the work environment is usually averageCompensation and Benefits: Hourly Pay Range: $16.70 - 27.83 USD Hourly.
This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law.
