Sand Mold Assembly Line WorkerWork Model: This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office.Summary: Cross functional team member working in a foundry on a paced, sand mold assembly line.Pay rate starts at $22.24/hr, depending on prior experience.Hours for the position are Monday - Thursday 5am - 3pm.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Setup equipment and toolsRead, understand and follow process informationOperate different machinery at each station on sand mold lineKit and assemble mold making componentsCreate sand mold by directing sand from a mixer into pattern boxesPrepare sand molds by sanding, painting and assembling componentsCoordinate the removal of sand mold from the linePerform housekeeping and cleanup tasks on the assembly lineBeing engaged and having the desire to improve the processCritical Competencies:Ability to read and follow process instructionsUse basic hand tools and lifting devices like a hoist or craneAbility to learn multiple roles and skillsBasic math skills and basic measurement skillsAbility to work in team environmentOperation of a large material handling forklift truckPositive team orientationEducation and Experience Requirements:High school diploma or GED preferredPhysical Demand and Work Environment:Work environment includes regular exposure to noise levels at or above 85 decibels, dust particles, and weather changes. Some work stations require use of a respirator. The material handling route is indoor and outdoor.
Appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be required to be worn during shift. Work schedule has a standard start time and flexible end times.Physical requirements include lifting up to 70lbs, need to see details at a close range, standing for long periods of time, good hand and finger dexterity, and ability to bend, twist, reach and walk.
