This role handles general labor tasks including raking, shoveling, and smoothing asphalt; assisting paver and roller operators; setting up and maintaining traffic control and work zones; and cleaning and preparing job sites. The Asphalt Groundperson follows strict safety procedures, uses hand and small power tools, and works closely with crew members to ensure quality paving and timely project completion.
