Now Hiring: ASME Code WelderPay: $28.00 - $32.00/Hour1st Shift: Monday - Thursday | 6:00 AM - 4:30 PMFriday: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PMSome Saturdays RequiredJob OverviewWe are seeking skilled ASME Code Welders to join a growing fabrication and manufacturing team. This position is responsible for performing high-quality code welds on pipe, nozzle, and pressure vessel components while ensuring compliance with ASME standards and company quality requirements.The ideal candidate will have recent experience performing 6G pipe welding, reading blueprints and weld symbols, and working from established welding procedures. Candidates must be able to pass a company welding certification test and demonstrate the ability to produce X-ray quality welds in a production environment.ResponsibilitiesPerform ASME code welding on pipe, nozzles, and pressure vessel components.Set up and complete 6G pipe and nozzle welds according to specifications.Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings.Understand and follow Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and Procedure Qualification Records (PQR).Perform MIG (GMAW), Flux-Core (FCAW), and Submerged Arc Welding (SAW) processes as required.Conduct weld repairs based on Radiographic Testing (RT) and Ultrasonic Testing (UT) inspection results.Use measuring tools, levels, tapes, squares, and other precision equipment to ensure accuracy.Inspect completed welds and verify quality requirements are met.Work with quality assurance and engineering teams to resolve welding-related issues.QualificationsASME Code Welding experience.6G Pipe Welding experience.6G Nozzle Welding experience.Ability to pass a company welding certification test.Experience reading blueprints and welding symbols.Knowledge of WPS and PQR documentation.Experience with weld repairs following RT and UT inspections.Strong understanding of welding safety procedures.Ability to work independently and maintain high-quality weld standards.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Blanchard, OK.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
