Seeking an experienced AS400 COBOL Tech Lead for a full-time onsite contract position, responsible for leading development, client interaction, solution design, and mentoring teams in mission-critical enterprise applications. Key responsibilities: Lead development and preparation of STTM documents for enterprise applications Oversee technical leadership, including code reviews and solution design Engage in client interactions and provide estimations for project deliverables Required qualifications: 8+ years of experience with AS400 and COBOL Strong knowledge of IBM i (AS400), RPGLE, CL/CLLE, and DB2/400 Experience with Legacy Modernization and Reverse Engineering preferred Proficiency in AS/400 ILE concepts and SQL Demonstrated ability to mentor development teams effectively
