The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in RPG programming and related AS/400 technologies. This position involves development, testing, support, and documentation in a collaborative team environment.Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain applications using AS/400 technologies: RPG400, RPGLE, CLLE, SQLRPGLEDefine test plans and conduct unit and string testingProvide post-implementation support and assist with user acceptance testing (UAT)Troubleshoot and resolve issues based on their impact and urgencyCreate and maintain comprehensive technical documentationPresent technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholdersRequired Skills & Experience: Extensive hands-on experience with AS/400 platform, including: RPG400, RPGILE, CLLE, SQL400, SQLRPGLE, DB2/400Strong knowledge of change management tools such as: TURNOVER, TAATOOL, HAWKEYEFamiliarity with Web Service development on AS/400 is preferredUnderstanding of Integrated File System (IFS) and AS/400 networking conceptsExperience in application design, complex coding, and application testingExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsSolid understanding of technology architecture principlesProven ability to create and maintain technical documentationStrong communication and teamwork skills; ability to work independentlyPreferred Qualifications: Experience in the Travel domain is a plusBachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related fieldOr refer someone
