A media services organization in New York City is seeking an experienced professional to join its Product Design team as an Art Director. In this role, the Art Director will transform complex ideas, data, and marketing strategies into visually compelling presentations that captivate and persuade internal and external audiences.
About the Opportunity:

  • Assignment Length: 6+ months
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday
  • Hours: Standard business
  • Setting: Hybrid (at least 2 days a week onsite)
Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop visually engaging presentations (primarily in PowerPoint and Google Slides) for B2B marketing, sales enablement, client meetings, conferences, webinars, and executive speaking engagements
  • Provide art direction, review, polish, and delegate presentation requests with freelance Presentation Designers
  • Create high-impact, dramatic presentations using Google Slides and Microsoft PowerPoint that incorporate sophisticated video, audio, and interactive elements
  • Translate abstract concepts, campaign results, and data into clear, impactful visual narratives
  • Ensure brand consistency and visual excellence across all presentation materials for the company's B2B brands
  • Develop templates, icon libraries, and visual assets to streamline future deck creation, maintain design quality, and bolster brand standards
  • Support occasional design needs for flyers, infographics, and marketing collateral, as required
  • Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience as a Senior Presentation Designer, Graphic Designer, or similar role
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Previous experience in a B2B, Media, Advertising, and/or Technology environment
  • Strong portfolio showcasing branding, visual storytelling, layout, typography, design systems, and data visualization skills
  • Expertise in PowerPoint, Google Slides, Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
  • Experience working cross-functionally within a highly matrixed organization and/or agency environment
Desired Skills:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, Media and/or a related field
  • Experience in Audio, Media, or Advertising industries
  • Experience with Digital Audio advertising, podcasting, streaming media, or global business
  • Experience developing templates, icon libraries, and visual assets
