Join a dedicated healthcare team in the heart of the Midwest region, providing essential diagnostic imaging services. As a CT/MRI Technologist, you will operate advanced computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging equipment to capture detailed images for radiologist interpretation. This role may also involve supporting other medical imaging areas as needed.
Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain schedule flexibility, punctuality, and availability while working effectively under pressure.
  • Communicate complex information clearly, prioritize tasks, and coordinate multiple responsibilities efficiently.
  • Provide compassionate personal care and safe patient transfers using adaptive equipment such as hoyer lifts and sliding boards.
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
  • Handle confidential information in compliance with corporate policies.
  • Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance departmental quality.
  • Keep patients and their families informed about exam progress and respond promptly to their needs.
  • Perform CT and MRI procedures following departmental protocols and regulatory guidelines, accurately interpret physician orders, and maintain patient and departmental records.

Education
Graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program is required. Prior CT training is preferred.
Experience
Experience as a Radiology Technologist is preferred, with at least one year as a registered CT technologist being advantageous. Multi-modality technologist experience is also desirable.
Certification and Licenses
Must be a registered CT technologist (RT(CT)) with current ARRT registration. Candidates willing to cross-train and attempt registry within 30 days of hire, passing within 90 days of eligibility, will be considered. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association is required.
Mental and Physical Requirements
Requires close mental and visual attention for extended periods. Must be able to work under stressful conditions due to patient needs and critical situations. Physical demands include standing, walking, sitting, lifting up to 35 lbs, and other movements such as turning, pushing, and stooping.
Working Conditions
Potential exposure to infectious diseases, unpleasant odors, anesthetics, disinfectants, chemicals, and controlled radiation. The role includes regular on-call duties and varied shifts to ensure continuous patient care.
