Position Overview: As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a crucial role in our diagnostic imaging department. Your responsibilities will include performing a range of radiographic procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high standards of imaging quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain radiographic equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging exams, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Administer contrast agents as needed and monitor patients for any reactions.
- Review and analyze images to ensure they meet quality and diagnostic standards.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to discuss imaging results and assist in patient care.
- Follow safety protocols and infection control procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent).
- State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in New Jersey.
- Proven experience in conducting various radiographic exams.
- Strong understanding of radiographic procedures, safety practices, and patient care.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
- Ability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting.
