Radiology Technologist Job Description:
The Radiologic Technologist must be a licensed professional responsible for the operation and performance of medical imaging procedures to the patient.
Responsibilities for a Rad Tech:
- Perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, in accordance with established protocols and safety guidelines.
- Position patients appropriately and utilize imaging equipment to capture clear and detailed images of the targeted anatomical areas.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process, providing reassurance and addressing any concerns or questions.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to review imaging results and assist in the interpretation as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including imaging data and pertinent medical history, in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Associate's Degree in Radiology or equivalent
- Current ARRT Certification
- New Jersey DEP License.
- Current BLS Certification
