You will be responsible for operating X-ray and other imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety and comfort during exams, and working closely with physicians and healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities for a Radiologic Technician:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs.
- Position patients correctly and operate imaging equipment to obtain high-quality images.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures.
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
- ARRT certification (or eligible for certification).
- New Jersey DEP License.
- Proficiency in operating X-ray and imaging equipment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
- Knowledge of PACS and EMR systems.
