MLR is seeking a certified Multimodality X-Ray Technologist for a leading healthcare facility near Weldon, California!
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Imaging Equipment : Perform X-ray, CT, and MRI scans using advanced imaging technology.
- Patient Positioning : Accurately position patients for optimal image quality while ensuring comfort and safety.
- Contrast Administration : Administer contrast agents and monitor for adverse reactions.
- Collaboration : Work with radiologists and medical teams to confirm imaging needs and protocols.
- Image Quality Review : Evaluate images for clarity and make adjustments as needed.
- Documentation : Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Radiation Safety : Implement and follow strict radiation safety measures to protect patients and staff.
- Successful completion of an AMA accredited program leading to registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- State of California and ARRT registration and certification.
- BLS certification required and maintained thereafter.
- 5+ years of staff radiologic technologist experience in an accredited acute care hospital.
