Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI scans according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Operated and maintained MRI equipment, ensuring proper functioning and safety standards.
- Monitor patients during scans and communicate effectively with them to ensure cooperation and comfort.
- Evaluate MRI images for quality and clarity, making adjustments as needed.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate interpretation of imaging results.
- Maintain patient records and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Education:
- Associate or bachelor's degree in radiologic technology or a related field.
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in MRI.
- State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Strong knowledge of MRI equipment operation, safety protocols, and imaging techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
