MLR is seeking a certified Mammography Technologist for a leading healthcare facility near Red Mountain, California!
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Mammograms: Operate mammography equipment to capture clear breast images while ensuring proper patient positioning.
- Patient Care & Education: Prepare and guide patients through the mammogram process, ensuring comfort and understanding.
- Image Review: Check image quality before submitting to radiologists for evaluation.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate patient records and update EMR systems.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure mammography equipment functions properly, reporting issues as needed.
- Successful completion of an AMA accredited program leading to registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- State of California and ARRT registration and certification.
- BLS certification required and maintained thereafter.
- Acute care hospital radiologic technologist experience required.
