Core Responsibilities
- Utilize radiographic and CT imaging techniques to acquire precise diagnostic images for evaluation by physicians
- Engage collaboratively with radiologists and the healthcare team to support accurate diagnostic outcomes
- Efficiently position patients and adjust equipment to ensure optimal imaging quality
- Uphold radiation safety protocols to protect both patients and colleagues
- Maintain comprehensive records, including imaging logs and equipment checks
- Deliver empathetic care throughout the imaging experience
- Help cultivate a safe, orderly, and effective imaging environment
- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is required; a Bachelor's Degree is advantageous
- Graduation from a recognized radiologic program
- ARRT certification (CT and/or Radiography) mandatory
- Current BLS certification or ability to obtain it within 90 days post-hire
- In-depth knowledge of diagnostic imaging procedures and compliance with safety standards
- Outstanding communication abilities with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Capable of thriving in a high-paced environment while adapting to evolving circumstances
