Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Utilizing radiographic and CT techniques to produce precise diagnostic images for healthcare practitioners
- Partnering closely with radiologists and the healthcare team to facilitate precise diagnostics
- Correctly positioning patients and setting up equipment for optimal imaging results
- Ensuring radiation safety protocols are implemented for every patient and staff member
- Maintaining accurate logs, including imaging records and equipment upkeep
- Delivering caring and supportive patient interactions throughout the imaging process
- Contributing towards a structured, secure, and productive imaging environment
- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is required; a Bachelor's Degree is highly preferred
- Completion of an accredited radiology program
- ARRT certification (CT and/or Radiography)
- Current BLS certification or must obtain within 90 days of hire
- Expertise in and adherence to diagnostic imaging protocols and safety regulations
- Strong communication skills, fostering relationships with patients and colleagues
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, adjusting swiftly to changing demands
- A keen eye for detail and a strong sense of responsibility
- Comfortable using current imaging technologies such as PACS, RIS, and modern imaging software
