Key Responsibilities for a CT Scan Technologist:
- Operate CT equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Review physician orders and patient history to ensure appropriate procedures are performed.
- Collaborate with radiologists to capture high-quality images for accurate interpretation.
- Schedule Options: M-F / 3:00 PM to 11:0 PM (5x8s) or M-Thurs / 7:30 P-6:00A (4x10s) or Sat, Sun, Mon / 7 AM to 7:30 PM.
- Maintain thorough records of imaging procedures and patient data within the hospital's electronic systems.
- Monitor patients during procedures, offering clear instructions and assistance as needed.
- Adhere to safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure and comply with regulatory standards.
- Assist in maintaining and troubleshooting CT equipment to ensure smooth operation.
- Current Texas licensure as a Radiologic Technologist required.
- Prior CAT scan experience is required,
- ARRT Certification in CT (Computed Tomography) required.
