You will work closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals in a fast-paced environment to provide exceptional patient care.
CT Technologist Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CT scans, including contrast and non-contrast studies, for a variety of medical conditions.
- Prepare and administer contrast agents as prescribed, ensuring patient safety throughout the procedure.
- Ensure high-quality images for accurate diagnosis while minimizing patient radiation exposure.
- Assist with patient positioning and provide comfort during imaging procedures.
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient information and scan results in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to evaluate results and support the development of treatment plans.
- Educate patients and their families about CT procedures and safety precautions.
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program with a focus on CT.
- Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in CT required.
- State licensure as required.
- Strong technical and troubleshooting skills for operating CT equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a healthcare team.
