As an Armed Officer at a leading aerospace and defense location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $28.68 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Mon 11:00 AM - 05:00 PM Tue 11:00 AM - 05:00 PM Wed 11:00 AM - 05:00 PM Fri 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and security-related concerns.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials and authorization, and maintain awareness of restricted areas and controlled property.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and notification procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required logs for patrol activities, incidents, visitor access, and security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Have at least 5 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
