Job Description

As a Armed Security Officer - Response in Chandler, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to situations as needed, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities at a government services location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions, unauthorized activity, and security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and applicable procedures.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Maintain professional communication with site personnel, visitors, law enforcement, and emergency responders while providing a visible armed presence to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
