Armed Security Officer (Part-Time)
We are hiring professional a part-time Armed Security Officer with availability on Saturday and Sunday. Candidates must have a valid Massachusetts License to Carry (LTC), their own Massachusetts-compliant firearm, and a duty belt. Strong communication and de-escalation skills are required, along with the ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Military or law enforcement experience is required.

Job Summary:
- Maintain the security and safety of the assigned site through regular patrols
- Actively enforce rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
- Respond to emergency situations and provide security assistance
- Engage with the public to offer assistance and directions
- Monitor closed-circuit television for potential issues
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Maintain a physical presence within the facility as a visible deterrent to illegal activity
- Provide superior customer care to enhance the facility's atmosphere
- Keep accurate logs and write detailed incident reports
- Prevent unauthorized access to the area and items within
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Must be 21 years old
- Must have valid armed license where required
- Strong commitment to the well-being of others
- Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in using computer systems and applications
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of related experience
- Active Armed Security license
- Valid Driver's License
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting and/or standing for up to 4 hours
- Foot patrol and ability to lift up to 15 pounds
- Must stay alert at all times
