What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and maintain awareness of persons and vehicles entering or leaving the location.
- Respond to alarms, incidents, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and applicable laws.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports for incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or a college degree.
- Possess 1+ year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
- Possess an armed guard card or license.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
