Armed Security Officer

Summary

Chenega Naswik International, LLC is seeking professional and highly motivated Armed Security Officers to support security operations at assigned locations. This position is responsible for protecting personnel, facilities, property, and assets through access control, patrol operations, emergency response, and security enforcement activities in support of federal security missions.

Responsibilities

• n

  Provide armed security services in support of government facilities, personnel, and assets.

  n
n
• n

  Perform access control and traffic control functions in accordance with established procedures.

  n
n
• n

  Conduct walking and motorized patrol operations to detect and deter security threats.

  n
n
• n

  Respond to alarms, emergencies, incidents, and other security-related events.

  n
n
• n

  Conduct personnel, vehicle, building, and facility inspections.

  n
n
• n

  Perform package, parcel, and property inspections as required.

  n
n
• n

  Monitor activity and identify suspicious behavior, security violations, or safety concerns.

  n
n
• n

  Document incidents, observations, and security-related activities in required reports and logs.

  n
n
• n

  Interact professionally with employees, visitors, contractors, and government personnel.

  n
n
• n

  Maintain assigned equipment, uniforms, and operational readiness standards.

  n
n
• n

  Support emergency response and incident management activities.

  n
n
• n

  Work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and special events when required.

  n
n
• n

  Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

n
• n

  High School Diploma or GED required.

  n
n
• n

  Must be at least 21 years of age.

  n
n
• n

  Two (2) years of service in the United States Armed Forces, including Reserve or National Guard service; or

  n
n
• n

  Any combination of two (2) years of military service and physical security experience as an armed or unarmed security officer; or

  n
n
• n

  Associate's degree in Security, Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, or a related field; or

  n
n
• n

  Successful completion of a police officer basic training academy.

  n
n
• n

  Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license.

  n
n
• n

  Ability to successfully pass required background screening requirements.

  n
n

Preferred Qualifications:

n
• n

  Prior armed security, military, law enforcement, or force protection experience.

  n
n
• n

  Experience supporting federal government or Department of Homeland Security contracts.

  n
n
• n

  Experience conducting access control, patrol, and emergency response operations.

  n
n
• n

  Experience operating security systems, communications equipment, or surveillance technology.

  n
n
• n

  CPR, First Aid, or other security-related certifications.

  n
n

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  Knowledge of physical security, force protection, and access control principles.

• n

  Ability to respond calmly and effectively during emergencies and high-stress situations.

• n

  Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  n

  Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook.

  Ability to operate computers, radios, vehicles, and standard office equipment.

  Strong observational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• n

  Ability to prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation.
