Armed Security Guard
Required qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Candidate must qualify for employment by passing additional extensive background checks, psychological evaluation, range qualification, and drug screening. Valid Colorado driver's license is required for hire. Have or be eligible for current Peace Officer's Standard Training (POST) Certification; or completion of a state-certified police academy or military police training academy; or job-related knowledge which may be gained by at least two (2) years in law enforcement, or two (2) years education in law enforcement or police science, or at least 3 years experience in other security related field. CPR and First Aid certification required upon hire.
Hours/Days: 8 hours/day 11:00 am to 7:30 pm (Schedule may vary) 182 days/year.
Salary Range: $26.09 to $34.93 per hour Salary based on experience and education.
