Arizona Licensed Staff Pharmacist

To support a growing closed-door pharmacy, the full-time Arizona Licensed Staff Pharmacist will verify prescriptions, provide proactive patient counseling via phone, and collaborate with prescribers to ensure safe and efficient medication dispensing in a remote environment. Key Responsibilities Review and clinically verify new and refill prescriptions for accuracy and safety Provide proactive outbound patient counseling and handle inbound clinical inquiries Collaborate with prescribers to clarify prescriptions and reduce dispensing delays Required Qualifications Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy Active Pharmacy License in good standing with the Arizona Board of Pharmacy Strong command of the English language; bilingual Spanish preferred Demonstrated ability to perform high-volume prescription verification with attention to detail Strong technical aptitude for pharmacy management systems and verification platforms
